It looks like Meta is having a rough Friday morning. Starting shortly before 10 AM ET, reports began to spike from users unable to access both Facebook and WhatsApp, with the number of complaints continuing to climb.

According to downdetector, users are having problems with the popular social media site, as well as Facebook Messenger and Instagram. The problem popped up around 9:30 a.m. EST on Friday.
A brief Meta outage logged users out of Facebook and Messenger, sent Downdetector complaints surging, and also affected Instagram while Threads remained less clear in available reports.
