The Philadelphia Flyers finally closed out the Pittsburgh Penguins in an NHL Stanley Cup playoff first-round series. After falling short in Game 5, the Flyers advanced to the second round in dramatic fashion after eliminating the Pittsburgh Penguins.
The Philadelphia Flyers have signed forward Noel Acciari to a two-year contract, the club announced Wednesday afternoon. Acciari, following the 2025-26 campaign, completed a three-year, $6 million deal with the Pittsburgh Penguins originally signed in July of 2023.
Stuart Skinner is leaving Pittsburgh and heading to Winnipeg. The Jets said the free agent goaltender agreed to a two-year contract with an average annual value of $3.75 million on Wednesday. The Penguins acquired Skinner from the Edmonton Oilers in the Tristan Jarry trade in December.
