Unexpected Encounters in Florida: Feeding Alligators

Florida springs vlog 🐊 A quick but important note: exploring the Florida springs is a magical experience, but it’s never fully “safe” when alligators share the water. An attack may be statistically unlikely, but unlikely and safe aren’t the same thing. There are many variables at play, from nesting season to the individual animal’s temperament to whether it’s been fed by humans. That’s why I highly recommend going out with a local guide who actually knows the wildlife, especially my friend Josh
